We swapped the cleaning kit for something a little more glamorous recently as the HP Cleaning & Support team headed to the Keighley & Airedale Business Awards 2026.

After being shortlisted for Independent/Family Business of the Year, it was fantastic to finally attend the awards ceremony and celebrate alongside so many businesses and business owners from across the Keighley area.

Proud to Be Finalists

When we shared the news that we had been shortlisted back in August, we said how much it meant to see the hard work of the whole HP team recognised.

Actually being there on the night made it feel even more special.

HP Cleaning & Support did not take home the award this year, with Aire Valley Consultancy Limited named the winner, but we were incredibly proud to have reached the final and represented our business at the ceremony.

A huge congratulations to Aire Valley Consultancy on their win.

Celebrating Local Businesses

One of the best parts of the evening was being surrounded by so many other local businesses.

Running a small business involves plenty of hard work behind the scenes, so events like the Keighley & Airedale Business Awards provide an opportunity to recognise what businesses throughout the area are achieving.

For us, it was also a rare chance for the team to swap their work clothes for something considerably more glamorous and enjoy the evening together.

Proud of the HP Team

Awards are lovely recognition, but the part of HP Cleaning & Support that makes me proudest remains the team behind it.

They are the ones out supporting our customers every day, delivering cleaning and practical support across Bradford and Keighley and representing HP in people's homes and businesses. HP Cleaning's services include domestic and commercial cleaning alongside practical home support and companionship.

Reaching the final of Independent/Family Business of the Year gave us another opportunity to celebrate everything they contribute.

We might have been feeling slightly less glamorous the following morning, but we came away very proud to have been part of the evening and to have represented HP Cleaning & Support.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, and congratulations to all of this year's finalists and winners.
