A chance discovery shows how family connections can be recognised across generations
After promising a new customer they would investigate an old photograph, HP Cleaning & Support Work received an unexpected surprise.
The customer identified the second man from the right as the poster's father, Ian Dale. What made the moment even more remarkable was that she was not even born when the men in the photograph worked together.
She explained that she had always been known as "Ian Dales' daughter", making the connection instantly recognisable. The discovery left the poster amazed at the strong family resemblance that has clearly been passed down through the generations.
The photograph offers a glimpse into the past and serves as a reminder of how old images can keep local history and family stories alive for years to come.
