Supporting veterans and the Poppy Appeal
Helena Dowsland • 22 November 2023
This November, some of the HP team sold poppies at Sainsbury's in Keighley.
Rememberance weekend is an important time for my family, remembering my dad who was a veteran, as well as the many brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
I feel it is important to think of all those who volunteered so I encouraged my two eldest children to take part in this year's commemeration events. Together we attended a beautiful service and they carried their grandad in their hearts.
I also wanted to help with fundraising so offered for the HP team to sell poppies and raise money for the British Legion.
Thank you to our veterans for their hard work in keeping us safe, and the many who died for our freedom.
Lest we forget.
HP Cleaning & Support was proud to join businesses from across the area for the 2026 awards after reaching the final of the Independent/Family Business of the Year category.
A week of lovely feedback has been a welcome reminder of the difference our team makes to the people we support.
Our 2026 charity donations have now reached £1,470, alongside the voluntary support and cleans we continue to provide for people who need a little extra help.
HP Cleaning & Support is thrilled to be heading to the Keighley & Airedale Business Awards 2026 and we cannot wait to celebrate with so many brilliant local businesses next month.
